Apple Launch Mac App Store

As many of you will already know, Apple have launched some of the most innovative products that have been known in recent history. Their iPhone and iPod Touch device re now owned by million sof people around the world and they have revolutionised the industry. With these devices, Apple also launched the app store where users would be able to browse the store for applications for their devices. This was another innovation that really took off and there are now over 200,000 apps in the store. Now, Apple are taking this idea even further and they have announced they will be opening a Mac app store.

The idea behind this Mac app store is the same as the app store for the iPhone and iPod Touch although the apps will be for the Mac. Apple announced at their event just a couple of days ago that they would be releasing a new version of their OSX operating system that would have the Mac app store built in. Users will be able to browse the app store on their Mac computers in order to find great apps for their Mac. As well as this, Apple has introduced an apps screen on the Mac computers that will display apps in the same way as they are displayed on the iPhone and iPod Touch devices.

The Mac app store is currently in the beta testing stages and can be downloaded for Mac computers already if you are looking to test it out.
