Apple iPad 2 to have three different models

There have been a lot of rumours about the Apple iPad 2 device that is set for release in the early part of 2011 and as the event where Apple are expected to reveal the product draws closer and closer, more and more rumours about the device are surfacing. The latest rumours about it are that it will actually be released in 3 different models. The current version of the iPad is available in just two models, the Wi-Fi version and the 3G version. It is now thought that the next generation of the device will actually have an extra model that will have CDMA capabilities.

The iPad 2 device is expected to be unveiled by Apple at their next big event which is being held on the 6th January 2011. The iPad 2 is thought to still be being released in the Wi-Fi and 3G models but that there will also be the CDMA version. This version of the iPad is thought to be made to be compatible with the network that Verizon are currently operating and that it will add a whole new range of features for the iPad.

It is rumoured that production of the next generation of the devices will actually start s early as the end of January and that they will be released in the early part of next year. There are also rumours that Apple will be producing around half a million of the devices.
