First Apple Computer Sold for £130,000

Today, Apple is one of the most well known companies in the world and they have a range of products that is extremely extensive and are well known throughout the computer market. However, there was a time when Apple was just a small company being run by Steve Jobs from his garage. Now, the very first computer that was ever produced by Apple has been sold at auction for a staggering £130,000.

The computer which is thought to have been one of the first computers ever produced by Apple was sold at auction for £130,000. The computer comes with all of the original packaging and it also comes with a signed sales letter from Steve Jobs himself. The computer is one of the original 200 computers that were made in the Apple 1 batch back in 1976 and it was originally sold for just $666.66. It was originally bought by an American businessman who is thought to have bought the computer over the telephone.

The Apple computer was the first computer ever to come with a fully assembled motherboard which allowed the customer to use the product straight out of the box. The computers processor is thought to be 1000 times slower than the processor that is currently in the Apple iPad device that was released just a few months ago. The user of the computer was required to provide their own keyboard, display and power supply.
