Apple iBooks Jailbreak Error

The Apple iPhone and iPad device are some of the most popular devices on the market at the moment and there are millions of people all around the world that own one of the devices. The devices allow users to actually download new content from the Apple iTunes store as well as the app store and the iBook store. This allows users to get fresh new content on their devices. One of the things that Apple has been struggling with just lately however is people jailbreaking their devices. This is where a software hack is performed on the device that allows users to get new content without paying for it.

Apple have started to hit back at people that are jailbreaking their iPhone and they have actually started to display an error message on the device to the jailbroken devices. When a user running the latest version of the Apple iOS firmware and they try and download content using iBooks, an error is displayed. The error reads that the users iPhone is not configured properly and that they should restore the iPhone in iTunes’.

This stops the users of the Jailbroken iPhone from downloading eBooks for the iBooks app illegally and is part of a new battle between Apple and the consumer. The error message is only displayed on iPhones that have been jailbroken using the greenp0ison method however and we are sure that there will soon be a hack for it.
