Brain Trainer for the iPod Touch

If you’re always trying to sharpen your mind whenever you can, and want a fun way to do it, you may want to download the Brain Trainer app for the iPod Touch. The app comes with all kinds of great claims from doctors and scientific magazines, but also gets great reviews from entertainment and lifestyle magazines. The app comes from the Luminosity website, which has over 3 million users and now you can join in the fun by installing this app on your iPod Touch.

The app includes seven games that will help improve your memory, help you think more clearly, the ability to process information quickly, an increased attention span, better flexibility, and better problem-solving abilities. The app covers a 35 session course. Every day you play one session, which consists of 3 different games. Only the first five sessions though are free. If you subscribe to Luminosity though, you’ll get full access to every session and every game.

You can even track your progress with the BPI (Brain Performance Index) tracker. As you play, the BPI tracker will keep track of your BPI. Over time, you’ll be able to track your progress and, if you’re using the app every day, you’ll see it improve over time.

Of course, there is no actual scientific research that says that playing this game will actually make you smarter. But, it really is a ton of fun and if you want to get in on it, you can start by downloading it here.
