Apple iPhone and iPod Touch gets Alarm System Bug

As many of you might have already discovered, many of the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch devices have been suffering a problem in the recent couple of weeks. Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch devices have been suffering problems with the alarm system and this has caused a lot of people to wake up too late and be late for their events. This has been a big problem and Apple has released a support document explaining the problem and how to solve it.

Apple has said that the problem that has occurred is due to the daylight saving time being altered in the United States. A bug in the alarm system has caused this to allow the alarm to sound an hour later than it should. Apple have released a support document explaining how to stop this and they say that users will need to set the repeat interval of the alarm to ‘never’. They say that users should set a new alarm each day until they get the bug sorted. They have said that after November 7th 2010, users will be able to set the interval of the alarm back to normal and the alarm clock app should function correctly.

This problem has also been seen in part of Europe and the UK as they too changed their clocks. This has caused many people to be late for work and Apple has apologised for the bug.
