Just when you thought you couldn’t get any more fun and utterly useless apps on your iPod Touch, along comes Fling! for the iPod Touch. This app really is a lot of fun and has cute simple graphics, as well as background sounds to match, that you’ll wonder why it took you so long to fling.
The object of the game really is very simple. The game board is filled with balls that you have to get off the board. How do you do this? By simply flinging balls into other balls! To be exact, you push balls into others by just swiping your finger across the board – and taking careful aim, of course. Once there is only one ball left, you’ve won the game and can move up another level.
There is so much put into this game, it’s hard to imagine where the developers found room to put it all. With over 19 levels, there’s no doubt that you’ll have enough challenges to keep you busy for quite some time. And no one puzzle is like the next. So you don’t ever have to worry about being bored with puzzles that you’ve already done time and time again. Of course, because the app will save all of your past games that you’ve won and lost, you can always go back into your history to try to solve it again.
This version of the game is a free version of the full app, and you’ll only get about five levels and fewer available puzzles in the free version. And, some users have also said that the free version is full of popups that come up in the middle of a game all the time, encouraging you to buy the full version. And no matter how good a game is, that is always irritating. Still, this is a great game that everyone should check out and who knows?
