How to Restore your Jailbroken iPhone

One of the reasons lots of people don’t jailbreak their iPhone is because they think that if something goes wrong with it, it will be impossible to fix it. But if your jailbroken ipod touch or iPhone starts acting funky, it’s easy to restore it to its original condition. And, if you ever need to send your jailbroken iPhone back to Apple, you’ll have to restore it to the state it was when you took it out of the box. And best of all, you don’t have to worry about losing any of the precious music, contacts, or video that you’ve downloaded onto your iPhone. Here are the few easy steps that will take you through restoring your jailbroken iPhone.

First, plug your iPhone into your computer and make sure that iTunes is opened. Then click on where you see your device and click “Restore.” It will then ask you if you want to back up your data. This is a good idea but keep in mind that this will only save information that is not jailbroken, such as your contacts, music, and other information. If you have any jailbroken apps, these will not be saved after you back up.

When the warning dialogue box appears, click “Restore.” Your iPhone will then go through the restore process and when it’s finished, your iPhone will restart. Once it’s restarted, it will then ask you if you want to restore your back up and will give you an option to choose from where on your computer you want to extract the information from. Click “Continue” and the last of the restoration process will begin.

Your iPhone will now be completely restored, as though you had just taken it out of the box. But of course, it will still be fully customized and look just like your iPhone. Of course, if you really need to destroy all evidence that your iPhone was ever jailbroken, make sure you go into your Camera Roll. There may be pictures of jailbroken apps there and you’ll definitely want to get rid of them!

  2. i reset my ipod from setting and it is jailbroken . all that is showing on the screen for 1 day is the apple icon and the loading circle what should i do ???
