If you love cooking, and you especially love watching the professionals do it on the Canadian Food Network, then you need to download the Food Network app for the iPod Touch. This app truly has it all – recipes for great food; amazing step-by-step video to walk you through every sear, saute; and of course, all of your favorite hosts to enjoy the ride with. Plus with this app, you’ll also get loads of other great features like a grocery list, so you can easily see (and scratch off) items on your grocery list!
When you open the app, you’ll be at the delectable looking Home page. Here there are pictures of various Food Network recipes, each one looking just as delicious as the last! Just tap on one of these recipes and a movie will play showing you how to create that dish. Of course, if you have something particular in mind, there are also lots of different ways to search the app too.
Choose to search and you’ll be given a plethora of different search filters to use. This means that you can search for one particular ingredient, a particular dish, a recipe for a particular occasion, cuisine from around the world, recipes from a certain Food Network show, or one from your favorite host. If you want to have even more fun with the app, search by “Host” and you’ll see pictures of all the different hosts on Food Network. Flip through these pics, land on your fave, and then just tap on them. You’ll be given a huge listing of the host’s most popular recipes!
