If you’re a bartender, or just someone who likes to entertain frequently but isn’t really familiar with their cocktail blends, then you might want to download the Mixology Drink Recipes app for the iPod Touch. This app is another recipe app, but it only has recipes for cocktails, of course. And it organizes the tens of thousands of recipes that are in the app in such a convenient way that whether you’re looking to stock your liquor cabinet with the greatest drinks, or just need to know what you can make with what you have on hand, it will be able to deliver what you need.
You can simply search through the different drink recipes by going through the lists after lists of different recipes, or you can enter the specific drink you’re looking for. You can also choose the Random search, which will deliver drink recipes in a slot machine kind of way; so you can just take your chances and see what comes up. Of course, if you just have a bottle of this and a bottle of that on hand, but don’t know how to put the two together to make a delicious drink, you can just enter what you have and the app will deliver the perfect recipe to go with it.
It doesn’t seem like the app does anything to make sure that you are of legal drinking age before using it.
