Apple’s new textbook and education system has been making waves all across the internet since it was announced and now people are beginning to realize some of the problems with the service. Apple, as always, has attached a pretty strict set of rules to the books and not surprisingly many people are upset with how they will work.
Apple is essentially not only restricting what all you can see in their specific books, but also restricting what you can do with it. Apple is make it significantly more difficult to do things like presentations and open displays of the textbook simply because it would be detrimental to their bottom line. All of this is expected so it is up to you to decide whether or not it is too restrictive, overall the system does look quite promising for the future of textbooks.
