Tomorrow is Apple’s big announcement regarding education and textbooks but we already know what we’re in store for. Apple is planning to announce an upcoming textbook and handout system that will revolutionize the way these two products work for students and schools around the country. The idea is that they will essentially make as much of the work digital as possible in order to reduce paper waste and save schools money.
Obviously not all textbooks or forms will be available through Apple’s new system but they’re hopeful that it will have at least a minor impact on schools. Textbooks and electronics handouts may be a ways off in the future for many schools but with the right technology and funding it could very easily become a reality soon thanks to the system Apple is planning to announce tomorrow at an event in New York.
