For the longest time Apple and the iPhone were considered to be essentially consumer only devices because Apple gave almost no control to enterprise systems but now it seems that may all be changing. As more and more businesses have begun purchasing iPhones and other iOS devices Apple has slowly begun to give a little bit of control to these big businesses and it seems to be working quite well.
Analysts say that, while Apple is still and likely always will be focused primarily on average consumers; they are in fact beginning to cater to businesses more and more. Dozens of large companies have ditched other systems, like Blackberry, to switch to iOS and it seems that the trend will likely continue for some time now. Apple is surely happy to see that they’re slowly beginning to dominate the corporate market as well as the consumer market for smartphones.
