Special Orange Deals – Why You Should Sign Up With Orange

Special Orange Deals – Why You Should Sign Up With Orange. If you’re thinking about choosing Orange as your mobile service provider, here’s what you need to know about all their deals.

There are tons of mobile operators on the UK market, and choosing between them can seem hard. But one of the advantages of having so much competition on the market is that operators are forced to offer lots of special deals to lure new customers into signing contracts. Taking advantage of these deals can save you plenty of money, as long as you know what’s available to you. Today we’re talking about Orange deals, what they have to offer you in the way of something special. So, if you’re thinking about choosing Orange as your mobile service provider, here’s what you need to know about all their deals…

Orange Deals are Usually for Contract Customers Only…

In general, Orange deals apply to customers who have signed a contract. There are some deals available to pay as you go customers, but not quite as many. If you’re a pay as you go customer many of the below deals won’t apply to you, unless they’re specified as directed towards you, and you should check with the Orange web site to see which deals you can take advantage of.

Best Plan Guarantee…

One of the most difficult things about choosing a mobile service contract is deciding which calling plan is right for you. There are so many options to choose from with different rates and different monthly limits for calling, texting and data usage. Choosing the right plan is important, because that’s how you save money. If your plan is too big for you, you’re going to be paying for high monthly limits on services that you don’t use. But if your plan is too small, you’re going to end up paying expensive extra charges on top of your monthly bill for using extra services. With Orange this is slightly less of a problem than with other networks. Orange automatically analyses your calling plan every six months, and then sends a recommendation to you if they think you should change plans. So you’re sure to get the right plan with Orange, even if your needs change during the course of your contract.

Magic Numbers…

This is one deal that’s offered to both contract and pay as you go customers with Orange. If you’re a contract customer you can choose one Orange number at the beginning of your contract with which you get free, unlimited calling minutes. Every six months of your plan you can add another Orange number to your list of Magic Numbers. If you’re a pay as you go customer you can choose three Orange numbers, and every time you call for an hour you’ll pay only for a minutes. This is a great offer if lots of your friends and family are also on the Orange network, since it will save you a bunch of calling minutes or credit.

Orange Wednesdays…

Orange Wednesdays is a special plan that’s run by Orange, Pizza Express and some cinemas. Every Wednesday you get two for one movie tickets with participating cinemas, and two for one pizza at Pizza Express. You’ll have to text the special number every time you want to take advantage of this offer to get a code.

Early Upgrading…

Many mobile service operators require that you finish a contract before you can upgrade your mobile phone, but Orange doesn’t. Once you have been on an Orange contract for six months you’re eligible to take advantage of Orange’s Early Upgrade plan. You choose any phone that you want, and the monthly payment for the phone will be added to your mobile phone bill. And Orange even discounts the remaining months of your contract by twenty five per cent, so you’ll save money.

Phone Fund…

This deal is directed specifically to pay as you go customers. Every time you top up your mobile with credit, Orange will match ten per cent of the amount of credit you put on your phone and put it in a special fund with your name on it. When you want to buy a new mobile phone, Orange will then take that fund and subtract the amount that’s in it from the price of the phone that you’re buying. This is an excellent way for pay as you go customers to get discounts on new mobiles.

EE Internet Deals…

Orange used to have both mobile services and home broadband internet services. This meant that if you bundled your mobile and home internet services together you could get a nice discount. However, Orange’s home broadband is now controlled by EE. To make up for the fact that you can no longer bundle your services, Orange customers get a fiver a month of any EE home broadband plan.

Roaming Angel…

Roaming Angel is a special free app offered to Orange customers. If you regularly travel abroad you’ll know that roaming charges can get pretty expensive, and you can have a nasty shock the next time you get a mobile bill after you’ve been on holiday. Roaming Angel is designed to help prevent this problem. You install the app onto your phone and it tracks how many calling minutes, text messages and how much data you use whilst your phone is in roaming mode. Plus, it adds up all the costs for you, so you always know exactly how much you’ve spent. This is a great idea for people who’re frequently on the go and need to use mobile roaming to get service.

Quick Tap…

Quick Tap is a new deal, and it’s not for everyone. You’ll need a certain kind of phone, you can look on Orange’s web site for more details. Basically you put credit into your Quick Tap account using a credit or debit card. Then, when you’re shopping with participating retailers, you can pay remotely, using your phone. All it takes is the tap of one button. There aren’t a lot of retailers in this programme yet, but the number is growing every day, as is the number of phone models that are supported by the software. It’s a great plan for those that want to leave the house without a wallet.

Good value Orange deals were being advertised on the television, and it really caught Sam Jones attention. Before signing up to any contract he shopped around on sites like uSwitch to make sure he was getting the best value for money.
