Apple has not officially released their Q1 sales or earnings reports but thus far things are looking very promising for them. The iPhone 4S sold incredibly well following the holidays through the beginning of the year and as a result analysts are expecting very significantly gains for the company as a whole.
Compared to last year analysts are expecting a nearly 60% increase in earnings which is quite an astonishing increase for Apple. The continued success of the iPhone 4S is most definitely to blame for the increase and once we see the actual earnings report we may find out that it was doing even better than expected. Yet again Apple has done a great job expanding its business and continuing to grow rapidly despite the widespread economic troubles plaguing other companies in the business.
