Apple has been constantly pursuing various lawsuits all around the world for copyright and patent infringement and while many of the cases have been successful Apple is still spending hundreds of millions of dollars in attempt to win these cases.
Apple has spent a reported $100 million in the past few years which is an absolutely amazing amount of money for so few legal wins. Apple analysts have commented that it seems like the company has been spending an exceptional amount on legal feels and unfortunately it looks like they might be right. Apple is still turning a profit and performing very well but the constant addition of legal issues is definitely cutting into the bottom line for Apple at this point. Maybe in the coming months Apple will stop wasting so much money for so few gains.
