Apple and multiple other major technology companies are in hot water today over a series of allegations claiming that they artificially lowered wages through illegal agreements that forced workers to accept less pay. Apple and the other companies allegedly had agreements that they would not hire competitors employees at a higher rate which basically forced wages to stay low.
This is illegal on multiple levels and if the allegations prove true Apple and the other companies involved will surely be in trouble. We won’t know the exact outcome for quite a while as the ongoing case is still on its way to trial but it definitely seems like Apple might have gotten caught breaking the law given the vast amount of evidence presented by dozens of inside sources that have gone public with what they know.
