The Daily iPad App to come to UK

As many of you will already know, the Daily app for the iPad was launched in the US a couple of months ago and since then; it has experienced a huge amount of success. The Daily was released by News Corps which was founded by Rupert Murdoch and it allows people to get news content on their iPad that is updated each day for a very small cost. It is said that following the huge success of the app in the United States, it will now be coming to the UK and possibly other countries over the next few months.

According to an article that was often published online, the Daily app could be coming to the UK app store by the end of June. As well as this, it could be released in many other western European countries at around the same time.

The chief digital editor of the New Corp explained that the app will start charging for content as of next week and he explained that this was a make or break situation for the app. The app has attracted hundreds of thousands of users since it was released.

It is said that the prices for the app will be $0.99 per week or $39.99 annually but there has not yet been any word on what price the subscription is likely to be in the UK or in other western European countries.
