Ipod Touch Applications

Your brand new iPod touch will not understand any other third party application. But once you iPod touch has successfully jailbroken, you can add all the wonderful applications in this unique piece of tool. Let me tell you how to add additional applications to your iPod touch.

Once you have unlocked the iPod touch (we call it jailbreak), you will find a new icon over the springboard. It is called the ‘installer’. This is needed to install the other applications. Now you purchase the applications as per your choice through internet. Once you have done this, you will be provided the URL of the iPod touch repository files.

Now come to the iPod touch itself. Put your finger over the ‘installer’. Touch the area where it is written ‘sources’. Over the top area, click the ‘edit’ tab and the ‘add’ tab. Key in the URL of the iPod touch repository URL. Then wait for the application to refresh itself. When the process is completed, click ‘done’.

Again load the springboard. Load the ‘installer’ file. Click on the ‘sources’. Then touch the ‘edit’ button. Then click on the ‘red button’. After that, click ‘done’.
