xfinity TV app for iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch

Just when you thought you could watch your TV in just about any way that you wanted, along comes the xfinity TV app for the iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch. This handy little app tunes into your TV and allows you to control it from wherever you are, provided you’re connected through a WiFi connection, of course. And it gives you free access to OnDemand services and lets you choose from a whole list of categories. So no matter what your mood is, there’s a movie or a TV show that will fit it.

The OnDemand library has thousands of different shows and movies to pick from. But if that’s not enough for you, you can also schedule your DVR to record shows for you and then watch them – and you can do all of it directly through the app. And if you’re using the app from your iPad, you can even stream in some of the shows that are running on television right now on some of the major cooperating cable networks.

It’s hard to believe that the developers could come up with an app that’s so great but and has so many features; and that they also don’t charge an arm and a leg for it. And not only do they not charge a whole bunch, they don’t charge a thing. This app is, unbelievably, offered completely free of charge.
