The Weather Channel for iPhone

This is one of those apps for your iPhone that you just have to have. The Weather Channel app for the iPhone not only brings you current weather for any city in the world, but it will also save your favorite city and give you detailed maps that you can either search for or the app can pinpoint your location based on its GPS capabilities.

When you open up the app, you’ll get a full screen that’s completely utilized to its maximum, so anywhere you look, you’re getting information that you need. You can open up a map and see your area, as well as surrounding areas, to find out what the weather’s going to be like nearby; this is an especially useful tool for people who love to travel, or commuters. And when you open the app up, you can also easily search for your location and it will then give you all the forecast information you could want including short-term, long-term, and extended forecasts. And if you don’t want to have to search for your location each and every time, you can set the app so that it uses GPS to locate where you are, and then show you the weather currently happening, and about to happen, in your city. Or, you can just save your favorite location, and that will be the first one you always see.
