There is a lot of rumours floating around at the moment about Apple and the next iPhone release that is expected in September of this year, however, everyone has been referring to the phone as being the iPhone 5 and there has been almost no rumours at all about the phone being named the iPhone 4GS which would follow the past trends of Apple. The question that you might be asking is will it be the iPhone 4GS or iPhone 5.

Well, the thing is that although Apple has previously released the iPhone 3G and the 3GS models, Apple are thought not to be planning to release a 4GS version of the iPhone 4. There are a couple of reasons for this with the main reason being that Apple doesn’t like the iPhone 4. This is because of the huge amount of problems that they have faced with the iPhone 4 and they simply want to move on and steer away from the failure of the phone.

Another reason for Apple to move straight to the iPhone 5 and not the 4GS is that the 4GS sounds like a small upgrade. There is now a huge amount of competition in the Smartphone market so Apple needs to move their products faster than ever before. This means there isn’t time for the small upgrades of a 4GS and they will move straight to the iPhone 5.
