The Apple iPad 2 was officially launched in the United States last week and since then, there have been many people selling them on the eBay website. eBay is one of the most popular auction websites around and it is said that on the UK version of the website, iPad 2 devices are being sold at hugely inflated prices.

There are thought to be around 100 models of the iPad 2 device being sold on the eBay UK site at the moment and this number is set to increase over the next few days. The devices consist of many different models of the iPad from the lowest priced version all the way up to the highest priced 64GB 3G version. It is said that there is currently one of the high end models on the website that is being sold for as much as £1900.

All of these iPad 2 devices currently on the website are being shipped directly from America and most of them will be subject to VAT when coming into the country. With the iPad 2 being officially launched in the UK in just over a week, it would be a strange choice to purchase one from eBay considering that it would probably not arrive in the UK until around this date anyway. We recommend that anyone thinking of buying one simply waits for the UK release.
