The iPhone 4 was released by Apple quite a while ago now and still, we are yet to see the white version of the phone hit the market. The reason for this has never been made clear by Apple and they have never given an indication as to when we should actually expect the white version of the phone to hit the shelves. However, according to the Wall Street Journal, Apple is actually planning to release the white iPhone 4 device by the end of the month.

Even if the Wall Street Journal is correct and Apple is planning to release the white iPhone 4 this month, it would still be released around 10 months after it was supposed to be hitting the shelves. According to the Wall Street Journal, the Apple iPhone 4 in white was said to still be being released in spring on Thursday by the company which has caused the rumour that it will be released this month.

The claims by the Wall Street Journal have of course not been backed up with an official statement form Apple at all but it is customary for Apple to keep things on the quiet side. There have been a number of rumours that point to why the white version of the phone has not yet been released also but Apple has never explained the actual reason as of yet.
