One of the things that the iPhone and the iPod Touch devices have become extremely well known for are their cooking applications. There are now a number of apps for these devices that aim to show recipes, help with cooking and give tips about buying ingredients, all of which are designed to make your time in the kitchen easier than ever. Now, there is a new app on the market called ‘Time to Roast’ and this is a great app that will help you to cook any type of meat.

Although this might sound like quite a simple idea for an app, the execution of the idea has been great. The app shows you the correct cooking time for almost any piece of meat that you could possibly have consisting of any size. When you launch the app, you will need to select your piece of meat from the vast range available. Once you have done this, you will need to input the weight of your particular piece of meat into the application. After this, it will then tell you the correct cooking time for the piece of meat you have and it will be ‘time to roast’.

Overall, this is a great app for the iPhone and iPod Touch if you spend a lot of time in the kitchen and it really works well. The app is available in the iTunes app store for just $0.99 and it is well worth the price.
