Who doesn’t love to shoot a good game of pool every now and then? Or all the time at the local sports bar? Whether you’re a rookie or a novice, you can now take your love of the game of pool with you wherever you go with the 3D Pool Master Pro app for the iPod Touch. And it will let you play just about any kind of pool you want – 8 ball or 9 ball, mini-games, and Snooker.

True to its name, the images and graphics are in 3D, which is all the trend today, even in the world of apps. And in order to move your cue, all you have to do is touch the screen. Playing pool has never been so fun! Of course, you can share in all the fun with all your friends too by playing multi-player mode and playing online. You can even set up two players on the same device, and then play each other. There are also great sound effects and a complete music background selection. If you want to change what that is, just shake your iPod Touch and the music will change.

This app is offered for free from the developers but the free version does come with a ton of ads. Some users have paid for the full, and ad-free, version, but have then complained that the paid version still had ads appearing in it all the time. All users have said however that even if they wouldn’t pay for the app, it’s still a good one to have if you’re into playing pool. You can try the free version out for yourself here.
