Today a new online scam has begun to circle the internet that you need to be aware of. Thousands of people have reported receiving an email that appears to be from Apple asking for billing information and credit card info. If you have received this email simply ignore it as it is simply a scammers attempt at stealing your information.

Security analysts and Apple have confirmed that the suspect email is not from Apple and Apple has made it clear that they would never ask for this sort of information in an email. If you receive it in the future just delete it as nothing needs to be done with the email. If anything seems suspicious in an email you receive from Apple it may be a scam so do not give out any personal info. Fortunately Apple has done a great job alerting everyone of this scam.
