Sometimes an app is great just because well, it’s so much darned fun! And that’s exactly what the Ping Pong app for the iPod Touch will let you do. Yep, that’s right. All that insane fun that you used to have tossing that Ping Pong ball around the table? You can now take it with you wherever you go – and every tilt, turn, and glide along with it!

Yeah, we really do think the best thing about this app is that you get to physically move and play with your iPod Touch. But aside from that, there are also a ton of other great features that come with this app. You can play the classic game of Ping Pong as you know and love it, and get your name up on the Leaderboard in the meanwhile. Or you can simply test out the skills of your reflexes by tapping the Ping Pong ball on your paddle. And of course, the more times you tap, the more points you get. Those points are important too. Because along the way you’ll be given all kinds of cool bonuses that aren’t just totally awesome, but help keep the game interesting too.

There are so many great things to say about this app that is really is hard to know where to begin? Is it the fact that it brings back the love and nostalgia we all have for Ping Pong? Or is is that it has such awesome graphics and comes with so many other great features? Or is it really the fact that we do just get to tilt, bend and turn our iPod Touch as we play?
