Apple has been released their iPhone 4S device which includes one large new feature; the Siri feature system. This is basically a feature that will allow you to use natural language in order to get your iPhone to do things such as send text messages and more. Of course, Apple have made this so that it is only available on the iPhone 4S device and not the iPhone 4 but believe it or not, you can actually get a similar system on the iPhone 4device for free.

There are a number of other options out there if you are looking for a way to use spoken natural language to control your phone and these are available to iPhone 4 customers. For a start, you can actually get the Siri features itself on the iPhone 4 device if you are willing to jailbreak your iphone 4 but if you don’t want to do this, there are other alternatives including the Dragon Dictation software. This is basically a free app that will allow you to speak to your phone much like Siri and it works surprisingly well. Of course, there are a few less features but it is good for free.

Another option to get siri features on iphone 4 is that you can go for is the SpeechTrans Lite app. This is free of charge as well and it allows you to translate your speech into other languages. This is extremely useful and a lot like Siri.
