BBC news is one of the biggest sources of news in the world and ,many people visit the website on a daily basis to catch up on the latest goings on. Now, you can get the BBC News application for the iPod Touch and the iPhone device that will allow you to keep up to date no matter where you are. The BBC News application is free of charge to download and it is a very well thought out application that is constantly being updated with the latest news.

When you launch the app, you will notice that the news is divided up into sections including Top Stories, UK news and so forth. this makes reading news on the areas that interest you easier than ever as you simply scroll up and down. You are also able to customise the sections that appear and the order that they appear in allowing you to tailor the app to your own interests.

If you have a Wi-Fi connection on the iPod Touch, you are also able to watch Live BBC news using the button in the top left corner. This will also work on 3G if you have the iPhone but will require Wi-Fi for the iPod Touch. There are ways for you to submit stories and images to BBC news at the bottom of the app too which is great if you are a budding journalist.
