Why does my ipad keeps crashing?. We got a question from ipad user: “Since the new update iOS 8 came out my iPad keeps crashing…by that I mean it shuts off whatever I do ( i.e.Safari or different game programmes ) …anyone else having similar issues? ”
The iPad is a powerful tablet that allows you to do many things, including watch movies, read books, play games, and browse the internet. However, it is not always as reliable as you may expect. If you have an iPad that is constantly crashing, you may be experiencing a problem with your device.
There are many reasons why an iPad may crash, but one common culprit is bad apps. These can slow down the device or even cause it to crash altogether. In addition, older iPads may not be able to handle the newer versions of app stores and may experience issues when downloading new apps.
Background apps can also cause an iPad to crash. These are apps that run in the background and take up resources, like memory or CPU time, which can eventually lead to an iOS device crashing. To prevent crashes, users should try to limit the number of background apps running at once and keep them short-lived.
In this post, we discuss the problem of an iPad crashing, and how to fix it. We also describe the different types of crashes that can occur, and provide you with solutions to the problem.

“Safari crashes continually and different apps crashing out. I have done Cold boot, closed all applications in tray, removed programs and re-installed them, done a full reset on the iPad and I’m still getting constant ipad crashing and overall slowness of iPad. My wife has an iPad one also and she’s experiencing the same. The iPad is more of a bore now and not fun any more. Would like to return to an old update and have my iPad running like it probably did when I first purchased it.”

I just upgraded to iOS 9 and it crashes in the middle of watching a video, reading something on Facebook or even email. I’m beginning to think the upgrades degrade the original device so much so that Apple WANTS you to buy a new device.
Had the same issues. Let the battery run down to low teens, then did a soft reset from the settings. Then let the battery die all the way. After it charged up, all fixed.
Am having the same problem, would like to try your solution, but don’t know what a “Soft” reset is. Could you explain? Thanks
I guess I’m doomed to iPad hell. Oh well, I did need to read email anymore anyway…
I will never buy another Apple product, they rank right up there with Epson. Oh for the days when I had the original software!
I know, there are about 50 fixes and one might work, but since I don’t want to get an it degree, I’ll just go back to a PC.
