Shazam Gets Updated for iOS4

Shazam is one of the most well known services around and it is one of the most well known apps that is available for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The idea of Shazam is that it will give you the ability to be able to find out what song you are listening to. It does this by listening to the song and then searching its huge database of songs in order to find a match. It will then present you with the name and artist of the song and will give you the opportunity to buy the song. Now, the app has been updated to run with the new iOS4 software on the iPhone and iPod Touch, but what has changed?

Well, one of the biggest changes of the app is that it now has been made so that it is compatible with multitasking. This means that you can do something else on your device whilst you are using Shazam. This might mean that you could go and quickly check your emails whilst it listens to, and identifies a song or even play a game

Another big change is that there is now an option when it finds the song that allows you to share the music over Twitter or Facebook. This means you can share the music you have just discovered with your friends on social networking websites. This is a great addition to the Shazam app and it makes its usability on both the iPhone and iPod Touch much better.
