LiveSketch for the iPod Touch

Just when you thought you couldn’t cram anymore doodling apps onto your iPod Touch, along comes the LiveSketch app for the iPod Touch. LiveSketch is a drawing app that lets you sketch, draw, and doodle away to your heart’s content, just like many other drawing apps, but it is strangely addictive, and that may be because of some of the cool features that it has inside.

It has all the usual features you’d find, such as the ability to export your sketch by either saving it into your Saved Photos album on your iPod Touch, or by sending it off in an email. Of course, if you really hate it just send it to the trash can. And you can always undo and redo so if you really mess up, getting rid of that last line is no problem. The coolest feature in the app has to be that you can choose a line’s thickness by simply wiping the touchscreen – doing so quickly will give you a thin line while doing it more slowly will give you a thicker line. And if you want to quickly erase part of the image but not exactly ‘Undo’ it, you can always click the ‘Erase’ button on the bottom of the screen and you’ll get the full and natural effect of an eraser for when you need things like shadowing tools.

One of the best things about this app is that it takes no time to download – about 5 seconds, actually. And of course, you can find that out by downloading it from iTunes, for free, here.
