If you have recently upgraded your iphone to the latest iphone os5.1 on the iPhone device, then you might be wondering exactly how to set iPhone 0s up properly. There are a lot of people that have had trouble with their phones being erased of their date including contacts and calendars so you need to make sure that this doesn’t happen to you. Believe it or not, it is extremely simple to set up iphone os5.1 properly on your phone and you just need to do a few simple things.
The first thing that you should do is to actually back up your phone. Of course, with apple os5.1 , you can actually back up to the iCloud area that Apple has made for you but for now, you will need to back up to your computer as usual. When you are prompted to install iOS5, it should give you the option to backup your device. Once you have done this, you can install iOS5 on your iPhone.
This is a process that should take a while and once installed, you will have to go through a few things on the phone itself. You should have all of your mobile iphone apps on the phone but if not, you can download them again from the app store on the phone. You will now need to set up iCloud so go into settings and make sure everything you want to be synced actually is synced. And that’s it, you’re ready to go.
