How to do print screen in Mac OS X?

 

The so-called “Print Screen” in the Windows world is called the screenshots, or screenshots in Mac OS X, you probably noticed there is no “Print Screen” button on a Mac keyboard, and this is a simplified keyboard, and also because it is useless. Instead of hitting “Print Screen” button, you can choose a combination of several keyboard shortcuts, depending on the exact image desired action taken.

 

There are few ways to do screen capture in Mac OS X.

Change the screen that wants to make a screenshot

Hold down the Apple key ⌘ + Shift + 3 and release all

Then use the mouse to click on the screen

Ready. You can see the image file on your desktop. This is a screenshot of the image.

 

You can also make a screenshot for a portion of the screen.
