PayPal is one of the largest payment processors in the world and this is probably due to the fact that it can be used by anyone in a variety of different countries across the planet. Now, there is a way to manage your PayPal account without even having to log on to your computer as there is the PayPal iPhone and iPod Touch app available free of charge.
The PayPal applcation for the iPod Touch is pretty straight forward and allows you to login to your account as you usually would on your PC by entering your email address and password. Once logged in, you will be presented with your account screen where you can do a variety of things. First of all, you will see the balance displayed and you can then explore matters further using the buttons.
You will be able to perform a variety of things straight from the app including sending and receiving money through PayPal and even taking a look at your account history and transaction details. You will also be able to create a login PIN for extra security and you will be able to transfer money to your account. This is great if you need to transfer some cash and you aren’t near a computer.
You can accept payments as well though the app which means you can really keep on top of your account easily. The app is available free of charge and will work over Wi-Fi and 3G on the iPhone and Wi-Fi on the iPod Touch.
