Apple release Mac OSX 10.6.5 Update

If you own a Mac, then you will have probably been looking forward to the update for the operating system for quite some time. Apple announced the update just a few weeks ago and today, they have released the update for the OSX operating system. The operating system update that has been released is a little different form normal and instead of focussing on new features, Apple has actually fixed many of the bugs that they discovered in the operating system, eliminating security threats and other bugs.

There are many new features with the update with one of the main ones being the improved reliability with the Microsoft Exchange servers. This is something that a lot of users of the operating system have complained about in the past and it is great to see that Apple has taken the criticism on board. As well as this, there has been a lot of work done to the performance of the operating system with the stability of the OS being improved and the performance of the graphics being improved significantly in games applications.

Other fixes to the OSX include a fix for a well known issue that users have experienced with HP printers as well as the Bluetooth paring and problems with the Apple Magic Trackpad. There are also a few new features for camera enthusiasts such as the ability to use RAW images in iPhoto and Aperture. You can see a full list of the changes on Apple’s website.
