Apple Delays iOS 4.2 Update

Just a few weeks ago, Apple announced that they would be releasing the latest update for the iPhone and iPad devices and this was set to be the iOS 4.2 update. The update was actually due for release today, following the updates for the Mac OSX operating system just a couple of days ago. Now, Apple has released a statement saying that the release of the update is actually being pushed back until further notice. They have said that the reason for the delay is because of problems with the update and the iPad device.

Apple has said that the new update on the iPad device is causing problems with the Wi-Fi on the device. Apple has said that he problem seems to be that the iPad keeps kicking itself off the Wi-Fi network that it is connected to and that this is causing a lot of problems in the update. Apple now plans to push back the release of the update whilst their software team attempts to fix the bug in the update.

This is one of the many setbacks for Apple over the past few months after they received many complaints about the iPhone 4 device dropping calls. Apple is still yet to release a white version of the iPhone 4 device after months of the phone actually being release. This problem with the iOS 4.2 update spells even further trouble for Apple. They say that they will get the update out as quickly as possible.
