Apple could use 3D holographic display on iPhone 5

Over the last few years, we have received word of a variety of new patents that have been granted for Apple and this certainly spells exciting things for the company. One of the most exciting patents that has been granted is the use of 3Dholographic displays that Apple are thought to have been working on for a number of years. The patent which has now been granted will allow Apple to use the 3D display in their products and it is thought that there could even be use for the display in the n ext version of the iPhone.

The 3D technology that Apple have had their patent granted for is thought to have been filed around 3 years ago at the beginning of 2006. This means that it is possible that Apple could have actually been working on 3D technology for the past 3 years and that it could already be almost fully developed. This has led a lot of people to believe that there could be use for the 3D display in the next version of the iPhone but others believe that it would be too difficult to incorporate the display into a touch screen device.

Apple are however full of surprises and if they are following their usual trend, there is no doubting that they will surprise us with an innovative product at some point. We will just have to wait for the release of the iPhone 5 to see.
